Do you love children and music? Do you want to help parents become engaged role models? Do you dream of setting your own hours and earning an income with a job you look forward to each day? If you're seeking a fresh professional opportunity to do meaningful work, Music Together may be the perfect fit for you.

Whether you're looking for a career change or a way to supplement your current work, there's a Music Together opportunity that's just right for you. You can, of course, teach family and/or in-school classes for an existing licensed Music Together center. But you can also start your own small business with a very small investment. In fact, there's never been a better time to bring Music Together to your community, whether as a center director offering family classes, as an in-school provider helping various early learning settings incorporate our curriculum—or both! And, if you're an allied health professional looking for high-quality music and support for your therapy sessions, we have an option for you, too.

Music Together Opportunities

Best of all, you don't need formal music or business training to offer Music Together. In fact, many of our licensees had little or no business experience before developing a successful center. And while some of our directors are also professional musicians or music educators, many others are parents who fell in love with our program after experiencing it with their own children or preschool teachers who wanted to bring the benefits of music to more children.

Are You Expecting?

Your baby will be truly responsive to music even before they’re born! As an expectant parent, now’s the time to start on the pathway of music development for your newborn that will allow them to embrace, enjoy, and express their inborn musicality.

Babies

You don’t have to know how to walk or talk to enjoy a song. Your baby is ready to make some music! Read more about Music Together’s one-semester Babies Class, specifically created for parents with newborns under eight months old.

Toddlers

The Music Together program allows your toddler to learn in a playful environment that is musically rich and always supportive of their learning style and stage of development.

Preschoolers

A rich music and movement program develops not only music skills, but also skills essential for a well-rounded education. Your preschooler can get that—and more!—with Music Together, either as part of one of our family classes or when the Music Together In School curriculum is adopted by their school or childcare center.

Big Kids

Big Kids. They’re still kids—but they’re bigger. They have minds of their own and they know what they like. That’s what these classes are all about. Music Together Big Kids^® is a 60-minute class geared to the interests and abilities of 5-, 6-, and 7-year-olds.

Children with Special Needs

Music is in everyone. Our ears, our voices, our movements—these are tools for self-expression that boost confidence and lay the foundation for music-learning and all learning. And that’s all that children with special needs require to take part in Music Together.

Intergenerational Classes

Intergenerational Music Together classes are held at many locations around the country. Every day, in retirement homes, assisted living facilities, and adult day services centers, people from three or more generations come together to enjoy each other and make music.

Our Music

Each of Music Together’s nine song collections contains 25 songs. Our songs are unique, not only for their wide variety of tonalities, meters, and musical styles but also for their outstanding arrangements—which appeal to both children and their grownups. Listen for yourself!
